Personally, I don’t know what else to call this type of hat. It reminds me of hair nets because of the way it’s normally worn. I’m calling it a lazy hat until further notice because it’s worn toward the back of the head.

I have to say I’m quite proud of this piece, my first venture into decorating scarves. I used a simple 1×1 Rib about 6ft long and made flowers to decorate it. I was going to leave it at that however, I was walking through a craft store with a friend and saw two jeweled chains the perfect width for the scarf and wove it into the scarf right above the fringe.
The Twins
length: 5ft
fringe: 4in w/ pompoms
These were made for young twin girls and are complete with pompoms. All I had to go off of was pink and purple, I decided to keep the same style and pattern for the length of the scarf but decided on a light & dark shades of purple to give some variance while still color coordinating for when they’re together.

“reBirth” of Knits Knacks
I find that I am really horrible at introductions but by all means I hope you bare with me. Psychodove, PDove for short, seems to have become the handle of choice for my online life. I have many interests varying from graphic/web design to this and that. The generation of this blog was purely for my knitting adventures and endeavours however, I’m sure as my imagination grows so will this blog.
I opened a store on Etsy.com a little over a year ago fully intent on putting up all the knitted goods I’d made. I ran into a problem we all know, time. I went to Platt College for my BS in Multi-Media arts and being a studious student I didn’t leave time between practicing my sign language, school, homework, work and looking for work. I graduated September 2, 2010, with honors and made the Dean’s List four times during my time at Platt. I now work full time not quite in my industry but close enough with time to have my endeavours which I am very thankful to have!
With that, I am off to buy materials for another endeavour. Please feel free to Contact me with any questions you may have! Or if you would like to read more about PDove
